Cape Point to Buffelsbay Hike
Short Gentle Hike
This hike takes in all the magnificence of the world-renowned Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve in a mere 4 hours.
After hiking up to the world-famous light house on the tip of the Cape Peninsula we trace our steps back down continuing on to the nearby fynbos-clad Vasco Da Gama peak before heading down to the coast, our route taking us past the dramatic Rooikrans with its gigantic cliff faces dropping vertically down into the ocean, waves crashing below. The terrain eases out and too soon the white sand of the beautiful Buffelsbay beach greets us, remote and untouched. We linger a bit before heading to the tidal pool at Bordjiesdrif.
