This hike is a true ‘dance’ with the mountain as we ascend from the Pipe Track to Porcupine cave, then traverse around Porcupine buttress, continue on the sexy scramble up Porcupine ravine, traverse Jubilee and Barrier buttresses’ narrow ledges and finally ascend to the Valley of the Red Gods via Barrier ravine.

The views onto the majestic Table Mountain and prehistoric Lion’s Head over the top of Porcupine buttress is what this hike is all about!

We hike across to the famous Diving Board for those GRAM shots and choose the magnificent narrow Woody ravine for our descent down the mountain.
