At 1003 m above sea level, Helderberg West Peak stands proud above the False Bay basin. An interesting hike crossing diverse terrain and a variety of vegetation-types, from afro-montane forest to alpine-like heath and a variety of low-lying protea-fields yielding masses of flowers.
