A splendid hike through fields of fynbos and magnificent old Waboom trees on the lower slopes of the Helderberg Mountain returning via a river trail.
The Sky Belongs to Eagles hike follows a rocky, uphill footpath on the lower slopes of the Helderberg Mountain and onto the Waboom trail leading to a magnificent viewpoint overlooking the Hottentots Holland Mountains and False Bay with on a clear day views all the way towards Cape Point.
DURATION - 3 to 4 hours
DIFFICULTY LEVEL - Easy to moderate hike on a rocky mountain footpath and gravel road
