The - NIMBLE - hike series consists of 12 unique adventurous 5 to 6 hour day-hikes, a different hike occurring every second Saturday, see programme below. They are ideal training hikes for the Cape Point to Cable Car Slackpack Hike and Groot Winterhoek Backpack Hike.

- NIMBLE - hikes can be joined once-off on a drop-in basis, and 3, 6 or 12-hike packages are also available at discounted tariffs for those who’d like to join more regularly.

DIAGONALLY TO THE DIVING BOARD HIKE, Cape Town

A delightful dance up the Northern Twelve Apostles as we ascend, traverse, ascend, traverse to the top via Porcupine ravine into the Valley of the Red Gods. We continue southwards through dense and highly biodiverse fynbos vegetation including king proteas in their natural habitat to the famous Diving Board rock formation overlooking Camps Bay’s beach before descending via Kasteelspoort, a spectacular hike with dramatic and unusual views to the Table Top. CONSTANTIABERG HIKE, Cape Town

The hike starts from the Silvermine Dam Parking Area taking the Crags trail up towards Elephant’s Eye Cave and onwards to the summit of Constantiaberg. From there we descend to the high saddle at the top of Blackburn ravine, where we enjoy the magnificent views across Hout Bay and Karbonkelberg across the bay. We follow the Panorama trail which contours around, with beautiful views across Silvermine dam all along the way and end back at the parking area, where there is an opportunity to swim in the dam. Read more HERE.
